Terms

These terms summarise how Music Licence Consulting (“MLC”) works with clients. Full terms are provided in a written engagement before any work begins.

Our service

We review your business music licence (including PPL PRS “TheMusicLicence”) to identify potential overcharges and cheaper compliant options, and can manage the procurement of a new licence on your behalf. We are an independent consultancy and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for PPL PRS Ltd, PRS for Music or PPL.

Fees

For audits, we charge 20% of the verified savings and recovered refunds we actually deliver, invoiced once your new, lower cost is confirmed. If we do not improve your position, there is no fee. For multi-site estates, savings are calculated against the verified annual cost across the affected sites, and we agree the scope and basis of calculation with you in writing before any work begins. Procurement and other engagements are quoted separately in writing.

Compliance

Our aim is always to keep you correctly licensed and compliant. Nothing we do removes your legal obligation to hold appropriate licences for the music you use.
